Letter: Wonderful
staff We are writing to
tell you and the wonderful nursing staff of Willows
Estate how lucky we were to have found your
nursing home in our time of need.
Our godmother, Eleanor Robertson, was a resident
from October 1994. In that time, she was not always
an easy resident to care for, however your staff
always treated her with the utmost respect and kindness.
We attribute the fact that she lived until today
to the excellent nursing care that she received
every day without fail.
On many occasions we visited Eleanor for extended
hours at a time. No matter what day of the week
or what staff members were on duty, the residents
were calm, clean, beautifully dressed and happy.
The staff did not just concentrate on beds and baths
but on stimulating the residents and also on ensuring
proper nutrition. In addition, we never failed to
be impressed by the low turnover of staff that you
enjoy. We found it so
reassuring to see the same staff members on duty
year after year.
And they were happy, too, as could be judged by
their banter with residents and their family members
and also with their own colleagues.
We would not hesitate to recommend Willows Estate
to our family members and folks who have loved ones
in need of continual nursing care. Yours sincerely, Lynn Houghton & Pauline Gauthie
