Welcome
to Rosebridge Manor Rosebridge Manor is a licensed
and accredited, long-term care residence in a quiet country
setting north of Brockville. We are professionally supported
by the psychogeriatric outreach team at Brockville Psychiatric
Hospital.
Our dedicated staff provides compassionate, supportive
and professional care and services to 78 residents with
varying interests. Our Behaviour Management Specialist
offers leadership and support to staff and families concerning
the
individualized care of residents with Alzheimer's disease
or dementia.
Our commitment
to education provides our staff with the knowledge to
ensure each resident receives care that respects their
individuality and preference. It's part of our Pursuit
of Excellence mission.
Our modern, single-level home is designed for residents'
comfort. Bedrooms — private and shared —
are spacious, attractively decorated and feature en-suite
bathrooms. Corridors are wide and accommodating. Residents
can socialize and enjoy visits with family and friends
in our library or comfortable lounges. Our deck and
gazebo provide the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors
in our peaceful country surroundings.
Rosebridge Manor enjoys strong community support. Based
on our belief that residents continue to be valued citizens,
we encourage them to take part in community life and
invite area people to become involved in our home. Outings
include picnics by the Rideau Canal, luncheons, and
visits to local farms, and our rural setting is ideal
for berry picking and corn roasts. Our dedicated volunteers
add much to the good times we have at our summer barbecues,
birthday parties, annual bazaars, holiday dinners and
celebrations. Children, local entertainers and clergy
visit us regularly.
We are committed to continually strive to exceed the
expectations of individuals and communities we are privileged
to serve. Our commitment to every resident and to those
significant in their lives is to respect and value every
individual and provide an environment which facilitates
a purposeful and peaceful lifestyle and supports the
quality of life residents are entitled to enjoy.
Our residents are valued members of Rosebridge Manor's
management team. Our Residents Council provides the
opportunity for residents and their family members to
participate in planning and evaluating the services
in our home and supports a strong line of communication
between residents and administration.

Letter: The greatest people in
the world...
I would like to take this opportunity to express my
thanks to a small group of people who are faced daily
with an almost impossible job.
This very small elite group of professional people should
be recognized and praised for doing such a fantastic
job. I feel that for the most part it is the love of
their fellow human beings that make this breed tick.
The people that I have
mentioned are the workers and the many numerous volunteers
at Rosebridge Manor.
To the very few who do so much to help my mother and
all the other residents, I would like to tell them that
I think they are some of the greatest people in the
world.
From my family to theirs and from the bottom of my heart,
thank you.
