Letter: Finding a home
for Mother... My wife and I would like to take
this opportunity to express our gratitude and appreciation
on the way you and your staff have made my mother feel
so much at home at Burnbrae.
It comes the time in everyone's life that
the family has to make the decision for one of their
loved ones to be placed in a Long Term Care Home.
In January of 2000, Shirley and I began combing
the area searching for what we felt would be a proper
establishment for Mother, where she would be content
and well taken care of. After viewing more than
40 Nursing Homes, we were directed to Burnbrae Gardens.
We stepped inside the door and knew this was going to
be the right place.
Mother moved in mid March of 2000, being able to
bring a lot of her personal items with her, making her
room look like home.
Your staff, from Nursing to Housekeeping, and Kitchen
Staff have been tremendous, not only in the performance
of their position but also in the love and concern that
they show to all the residents.
