Making
spirits bright at Rosebridge
Thursday, December

Rosebridge Manor is striving to keep spirits
bright this holiday season.
Life enrichment co-ordinator Kathy Barr says
Rosebridge is supporting residents this Christmas
by keeping them busy with a host of seasonal
celebrations.
“It has been pretty lively around here,”
says Kathy.
“There’s not much of a chance
to get depressed.”
On Tuesday, the Rosebridge staff and residents
choir performed and a skit by staff was prepared
to entertain seniors at the Jasper long-term
care home.
A volunteer hosted a Christmas dinner for
10 residents this week, serving the meal on
her fine china, complete with candles and
gifts.
A variety of other celebrations, special
treats and live entertainment make the season
a happy one for residents, says Kathy.
Residents take part in a Christmas lights
tour this week followed by hot chocolate and
goodies at the local Civitan club.
On Christmas day, families will join their
loved ones for a traditional holiday meal.
