Sharma
session emotional for LEC

The Robin Sharma experience was an emotional journey
of self-discovery for the life enrichment co-ordinator
at Willows Estate.
After reading the inspirational speaker’s
book, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari, although
impressed, Teddy Mazucca didn’t know what
to expect during the leadership retreat with Robin
for OMNI managers Tuesday and Wednesday in Markham.
She was “revitalized.”
“It was very touching actually,”
says Teddy, who works at the Aurora long-term
care home.
“It really made you think. It was a bit
frightening because it made you dig deep inside
yourself,” she says. “For me, it made
me do a self assessment.”
OMNI announced it was teaming up with Robin in
April. CEO Fraser Wilson said Robin and OMNI make
a good match. Managers from the long-term care
provider’s western homes attended the ‘Elite
Performance Series’ with Robin. Managers
from the eastern homes will attend the session
in November.
Teddy says managers came back from the sessions
rejuvenated. “It was quite enlightening.”
