calls Elite Performers’ sessions ‘a
wonderful experience’

A life enrichment co-ordinator thought she was living
her life to the utmost potential. Then she met Robin
Sharma.
Shannon Boisvenue of Garden Terrace says she
enjoyed the two days she recently spent in Kanata,
taking part in the Elite Performers’ Series
with Sharma Leadership International. OMNI sent
120 of its managers to the leadership training
sessions Nov. 4 and 5 with the inspirational speaker
and author. The sessions were based on one of
Robin’s books, Leadership Wisdom from the
Monk Who Sold His Ferrari. The sessions were geared
at becoming a better leader, but also a better
person all-round. Shannon says Robin gave her
the tools to lead an even more fulfilling life.
“I really thought it was a wonderful experience,”
says Shannon, who works at the Kanata long-term
care.
“I got a lot out of it.” Shannon
says Robin taught her to make the most of every
day and prioritize what’s important.
At work, she says she has been emerging from
her office more, taking time to talk to residents
and staff, something she plans to build into her
schedule each day
