Letter: Garden Terrace blessed
with the presence of Jeff Bedley June
29, 2004
Over the past year Garden Terrace has been blessed
with the presence of Jeff Bedley. Jeff joined us
last summer from our sister home Forest Hill, to
replace our Life Enrichment Coordinator Shannon
Boisvenue during her maternity leave. Shannon has
rejoined our team and will continue to provide the
outstanding compassion, commitment and leadership
that we have all come to expect from her. Those
of you who have joined us since last summer will
be meeting Shannon for the first time over the coming
days.
I know that I join everybody in offering
a most sincere thank-you to Jeff. I cannot recite all
of the wonderful acts that Jeff has done since he joined
us, for that would take many pages. We have all benefited
from getting to know Jeff on both a professional and
personal level. He has proven to be a man of honour,
compassion and flexibility – a dynamic personality
in a dynamic profession. We will think of Jeff whenever
we hear the famous saying of Kahlil Gibran:
“Tenderness and kindness
are not signs of weakness and despair, but manifestations
of strength and resolutions.”
Thank you Jeff. You will always
be welcome at Garden Terrace.
Yours sincerely, Karl Samuelson
